Attitude is very important in how you get through life. I try to take a very cheerful attitude towards life, I like to say that choosing to be happy in turn makes me happy. There are all kinds of attitudes in life, happy, sad, angry, punk, emo, grunge, preppy, or whatever it may be, but those are just emotions and clothing styles, when it comes down to it, the only important attitude is the one in your daily walk with God, your Christian life, and not only that, but your attitude towards others.

As a Christian everyday is a struggle, but we should go through life “all out”. We have to roll with the punches, and we have to work hard and play hard… and pray hard. If my attitude towards my daily walk is, “Great, another day at school, more getting picked on and made fun of”, eventually people break, and with a poor attitude you will be broken. Now if we keep our attitudes up, then we are much harder to break. If you are getting persecuted at school, work, or wherever, then you must be doing something right. “stupid, goody little Christian” should be a compliment. God even says we will be persecuted for our beliefs. If we keep our attitudes good and we walk hard, then life will be good.

Often times our external attitudes are good, towards non Christians and just in life, but their may be poor internal attitudes toward your peers and your fellow Christians. Guys, other people in our youth group should be here for moral support and for accountability. Its not a contest to see who can be a better Christian. We are all walking the walk to get to heaven, some of us may slip more than others and we all do it in different ways. The point is, don’t bring your fellow Chrisitians down, you have to bring them up. (Matthew 7) (John 8:7) You guys ever hear of the Golden Rule? (Matthew 7:12) I think we often take that passage for granted, we hear it a lot but we usually don’t follow through with it.

So, when you see people fail, don’t shame them, go pick them up.
